The Senior Buyer manages purchasing execution for assigned suppliers and materials to maintain material availability, protect production schedules and support inventory targets. This position leads complex purchase order, supplier delivery, shortage, receiving, invoice and purchasing data issues that require judgment across planning, production, receiving and quality.
The individual in this position identifies supply risks, drives recovery actions and improves purchasing execution processes that reduce shortages, past-due orders, supplier disruption and non-value-added work.
