Farm Research Technician
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Dairy/CMR Technician. This vital role supports both dairy production and calf management, with responsibilities that ensure the health, productivity, and cleanliness of our dairy operations. This is a permanent part-time position working with young calves and adult dairy animals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cow Milking: Collect salable, high-quality milk from dairy cows with accuracy and care.
- Milk Quality: Measure and record milk weights, and collect required milk samples for analysis.
- Runner Duties: Maintain stall beds to ensure comfortable resting areas for cows, flush alleys for cleanliness, and assist with moving cows to and from the parlor efficiently and safely.
