Job Summary
The Assistant PM Major Projects- Generation Construction supports the planning, coordination, and execution of capital and construction projects by applying foundational project management principles under the guidance of a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.
This role assists across the full project life cycle—including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, transition to operations, and close‑out—while developing project management capabilities and ensuring project objectives related to safety, cost, schedule, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction are achieved.
The Assistant Project Manager collaborates with engineering, construction, project controls, contractors, and internal stakeholders to support safe, reliable, and cost‑effective project delivery in accordance with industry best practices, NIPSCO Organizational Process Assets, and Project Management Guidelines and Standards.
