You are a strategic leader who seamlessly bridges the gap between complex technical algorithms and enterprise risk. You have a deep passion for technology ethics and possess the unique ability to translate abstract principles—like fairness and privacy—into measurable engineering metrics and operational workflows. With exceptional stakeholder management skills, you are just as comfortable discussing prompt injection risks with data scientists as you are presenting governance strategies to C-suite executives.
You'll need to have: Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Eight or more years of relevant work experience in technology policy, data governance, legal, risk management, or data science.
Three or more years of direct leadership experience in AI Governance, Responsible AI, Tech Ethics, or AI/ML Risk Management at an enterprise scale.
Deep understanding of machine learning lifecycles, generative AI technologies, and the specific ethical risks associated with Large Language Models (LLMs).
Demonstrated experience translating global AI and data regulations (e.g., NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, GDPR, CCPA) into enterprise compliance strategies.
Even better if you have one or more of the following: A Master’s degree, JD, or PhD in Law, Public Policy, Computer Science, Data Ethics, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
Experience operating within highly regulated industries such as Telecommunications, Financial Services, or Healthcare.
Active certifications in privacy or risk (e.g., CIPP/US, CIPT) or relevant AI ethics credentials.
A proven track record of representing your organization in industry consortiums, academic partnerships, or standard-setting bodies focused on AI ethics and safety.
Where you’ll be working
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.
