Cavaco AI is an AI-native ecommerce marketing platform coordinating email, SMS, paid ads, social, WhatsApp, and onsite experiences. We have customers, product proof, active trials, warm relationships, and early enterprise and partner opportunities. Now we need to turn founder-led selling into a disciplined, repeatable revenue engine.
The Founding GTM Lead is a builder and seller. You will personally create and close pipeline while designing the systems, messages, metrics, and team rhythm that allow Cavaco to scale. Work directly with the founders on positioning, account strategy, pricing feedback, partnerships, hiring, and forecasting.
In the first 30 days, learn the product and customers, audit the funnel, define qualification and stage-exit criteria, and own priority opportunities. By day 60, run the weekly revenue process, coach two SDRs, improve discovery and demo conversion, and create a credible forecast. By day 90, establish repeatable direct and partner motions with measurable funnel targets. This is not a management-only role: you will prospect, run discovery and demos, shape pilots, advance proposals, and close business.
Requirements
- You have built pipeline and closed B2B software, ecommerce technology, marketing technology, or agency solutions. You can sell to founders and to marketing, ecommerce, lifecycle, and digital leaders. You have worked in an early-stage environment where the playbook was incomplete, and can move between strategic account work and detailed operating discipline. You turn customer problems into scoped proofs of value instead of feature-heavy demos, coach junior sellers while remaining a high-output individual contributor, and use CRM data as an operating system. Direct experience with Klaviyo, Shopify, BigCommerce, lifecycle marketing, ecommerce agencies, or AI-native software is strongly preferred.
Benefits
- Base salary: $130,000–$160,000. On-target earnings: $200,000–$260,000, plus 0.75%–1.5% equity options. Final compensation reflects experience, location, scope, and the balance between cash and equity.
This is a full-time remote role within the United States, with regular San Francisco Bay Area collaboration preferred. You will shape Cavaco’s revenue system as product proof and founder relationships become repeatable growth, with direct access to company strategy and meaningful ownership.
