About the team

As Stripe’s user base and global footprint grow dramatically, we face unique support problems resulting from our scale and the types of businesses we partner with. The Stripe Delivery Center (SDC) strategy will provide operational support and expand Stripe’s portfolio of operational capabilities to meet the growing needs of external users and internal Stripe teams. Our support experience draws on a deep understanding of our products, the financial industry, money movement, and our customers’ products and users.

Building this experience requires us to invest significant resources in talented teams of Stripes.

What you’ll do

• We’re looking for dynamic and entrepreneurial leaders who will define our strategy for scaling the Core Payments team, improve operational workflows, and maintain a best-in-class Operations program. If you like hard problems, are analytical, are comfortable operating with ambiguity, and enjoy finding creative solutions, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product launches across multiple regions as an integrated program. Develop and maintain detailed launch plans that serve as the central point of coordination across globally distributed and highly cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product Management, go-to-market, cross-functional review, Support, and other key partner teams.
• Drive operational excellence across the product launch lifecycle by designing, improving, and implementing scalable processes that strengthen stakeholder coordination, clarify dependencies, maintain alignment, and support consistent execution across regions.
• Monitor and report on progress through biweekly status updates to senior leadership while maintaining transparent documentation throughout.
• Support cross-functional collaboration by identifying and documenting teams’ responsibilities for product launches, proactively communicating blockers, and providing transparent status updates and relevant documentation, such as product launch Gantt charts, program plans, and scope details.
• Define and improve operating rhythms that support efficient collaboration across teams. Manage operational cadences for product launches and business reviews, and track Stripe Objectives and Key Results (SOKRs).
• Establish scalable launch frameworks and operational structures to simplify execution, improve cross-functional alignment, and support efficient multi-region product rollouts.
• Minimum requirements
• More than 7 years of total work experience, including 4 to 5 years in program management, consulting, or a similar role within a high-growth technology company, with a strong focus on managing strategic product initiatives from conception through implementation.
• A proven track record in process and project management, including creating operational processes, leading product roadmap reviews, and designing scalable systems in fast-paced environments.
• Skill in scheduling, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines to support the timely delivery of products and features.
• Comfort operating with ambiguity and executing complex projects while building collaboration across diverse teams and functions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including high-level planning and ongoing communication to align project goals with operations.
• The ability to present ideas, product updates, and roadmaps clearly and persuasively to a range of stakeholders, including executives, to build alignment and understanding of project objectives.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in program management, consulting, or a similar role within payments or fintech.
• Familiarity with roadmap management tools and planning frameworks, and knowledge of how to apply them to manage projects effectively.
• The ability to understand the company’s strategic goals and align the product roadmap accordingly.
• Skill in helping stakeholders prioritize product features and initiatives based on business value, customer needs, and resource availability.
• A deep understanding of global markets and the ability to contextualize decisions and processes to account for regional nuances.
• Experience implementing process improvements and change-management strategies to scale operations effectively.
