Job Description:
Department: QA, Product Compliance and Tested Orders
Position: Machinist / NDE / Physical Test - Lab Technician
Primary Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
Set up, operate, and maintain manual and CNC machining equipment used to produce weld metal test specimens in accordance with AWS, ASME, Military, and other applicable specifications.
Inspect completed specimens to verify dimensional requirements and tolerances, and accurately document inspection and test data.
Collaborate with supervisors and laboratory personnel to prioritize machine shop, radiographic, and physical testing activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of testing requirements.
Prepare test assemblies for radiographic examination and perform all necessary procedures to produce acceptable-quality radiographic images.
