Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Anatomic Pathology Laboratory Assistant performs various technical and clerical functions involving Anatomic Pathology specimen handling and processing. Functions include specimen accessioning and patient demographic entry into the Laboratory Information System, accurate identification and labeling of specimens, review of submitted samples in order to assess and document quantity and quality of pre-analytic specimens and independent selection of optimal specimen processing technique based on requested testing.
