We are seeking an experienced Bridge Carpenter to support bridge and structural concrete construction projects. This role is responsible for assisting with a variety of tasks including forming, pouring, finishing, stripping, and general labor duties related to bridge construction. The ideal candidate will have experience working in heavy civil construction, be comfortable working outdoors in physically demanding conditions, and be committed to maintaining a safe and productive jobsite.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the construction, installation, and removal of concrete forms for bridge decks, walls, columns, caps, footings, and other structural components
- Perform general carpentry duties related to bridge and concrete structure work
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the scope of work
- Measure, mark, and cut materials to the required size and shape
- Ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of quality
