Assistant Market General Manager at Interstate Batteries | LAYIQ

Minimum of 2 years proven managerial experience preferred
Proven sales record
Previous experience in a Warehouse or Distribution environment preferred
Computer skills including Word and Excel preferred
Knowledge of battery or automotive systems preferred

Strong Communication – both oral and written

Scope Data: Serves as a strategic partner to the General Manager, focusing on optimizing daily operations and developing talent to ensure efficient product movement
The role generally involves overseeing the workforce and implementing process improvements

Work Environment: Ability to sustain posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time
Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, and talk and hear
Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, without assistance and occasionally lifting up to 75lbs
May be exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as exposure to moving equipment mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals
Exposed to the hazards of the road when operating or riding in a vehicle
Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required
