About this unit
The Short Stay Unit/Observation Unit is a 50 bed unit (private rooms), specialized in caring for the adult population with a variety of diagnoses. A multi-disciplinary team approach in care, treatment and disposition within 23 hours. Patients can come to our unit from all areas: Emergency Center, Operating Room, procedural areas, directly from home or from their primary care physician’s office. The unit has 20 telemetry beds for patients who require cardiac monitoring.
