Job Summary
Manages the activities of professional, technical and support employees who are engaged in providing for efficient and timely plant operations for all licensed Corewell Health facilities. Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with public utility, environmental and energy agencies. Provides oversight for system wide sustainability programs such as recycling and energy conservation activities. Develops departmental budgets and works with upper management in setting goals and objectives for the department.
Essential Functions
Manages the efficient and timely operations of power plants to ensure an appropriate supply of electricity, gas, water, and other essential utilities required for operations. Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with public utility, environmental, energy agencies to ensure efficient and timely operations through cooperation and coordination of activities. Promotes sustainability initiatives for system wide operations.
