Corewell Health Zeeland Hospital is seeking a full time (1.0 FTE) Hospitalist to join their team of 6 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers providing exceptional care for the hospitalized individuals and families in Allegan & Ottawa Counties. Since 1921, Zeeland Hospital has delivered care that’s advanced, yet makes patients feel at home.
Zeeland Hospitalists work days with a staffing model of two physicians and one APP caring for an average total census of 26 to 28 to include up to 6 ICU beds. Nights are covered by a virtual nocturnist and an on-site APP. Some procedures and vent management required; tela-ICU physician available for consults through state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment.
Essential Functions
- Assesses and monitors the medical needs of patients/significant others.
- Provides quality medical services to patients in a cost effective, appropriate manner and ensures coverage of case load at all times.
