Scope of work
Under direct supervision of certified technologist or advanced imaging assistant. Assists technical staff with providing patient care in relation to their technical duties, which may include assisting with patient prep, transporting patients, and preparing contrast.
They may also assist with the review and completion of medical imaging orders, reviewing consent forms, MRI safety forms, entering necessary information into the computer, screening for medical implants, shrapnel, and wearable devices to ensure safety prior to entering the MRI magnet suit (Zone 4) or scan room.
