Opened in 1945 by the Sisters of Bon Secours, it was acquired by Beaumont Health System in October 2007. Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe offers medical, surgical, emergency, obstetric and critical care, and other  specialty services.
There are 5 Grosse Pointe suburbs , all are suburbs of Detroit and located in Wayne County.   A combined population of 46,100, all have been demarcated as one of the best places to live in Michigan. There are many restaurants, coffee shops, and parks.
