Summary
The purpose of the Banquet Captain is to set, maintain, clean, and refresh all meeting/special event spaces within the Venue. The Assistant Manager will oversee the setup/operations team. In addition, this position will also be responsible for organizing all storage areas and maintaining end-of-month inventory reports for banquet, concessions and bar equipment and supplies.
Responsibilities
- The purpose of the Banquet Captain position is to oversee the daily operations of the Food & Beverage operations [Bartending | Catering | Concessions] team within the convention center, Plaza Theatre, A. Chavez Theatre, McKelligon Canyon Amphitheatre, DEP Administration Building, Arts Festival Plaza and Outside Catering ensuring smooth and efficient service for meetings, conventions, and special events. The Banquet Captain will supervise staff during setup, service, and breakdown while maintaining high standards of guest service, safety, and operational excellence.
