Suite Attendant at Baxter Arena $15/hr + Tips

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

-Pre-event suite set-up including chafing dishes, plates and silverware, televisions, lighting and overall ambiance in the suite.

• -Verify and set-up all event orders for Suites
• -Identify suite host and properly introduce yourself
• -Take game day food and beverage orders and deliver to suite
• -Set-up and check on game day food and beverage orders and serve guests until the end of the event
• -Replenish food, beverages, condiments and utensils for suite and catering as needed
• -Maintain standard of orderliness and cleanliness of suite and catering areas throughout During Event
• -Obtain signatures from the suite host on charges in a timely manner
• -Clear all items from the suite and catering areas and clean all surfaces and chafing dishes
• -Reset suite for next function, complete closing functions
• -Check out with supervisor or manager

Qualifications

• -Must have good customer service skills and the ability to develop and enhance guest loyalty
• -Must follow all SAVOR… Omaha policies and procedures
• -Must be present for all major events at the Arena
• Education and/or Experience
• -Minimum of one year experience in foodservice position required
• -Previous supervisory experience preferred
• -Must be at least 19 years of age and able to pass a credit check
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• -Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Universal Service Standards
• -Ability to complete required pre-employment sanitation and alcohol service training
• -Knowledgeable in operating food service equipment, basic food preparatory techniques, sanitation and safety issues
• -Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with staff, plan ahead and to prepare event plans simultaneously
• -Highly motivated, ability to take initiative, effectively work with others and work in a fast-paced environment
