The accounting team provides in-depth guidance to the rest of the organization on financial results, delivering essential insights that influence key decisions—from daily operations to long-term strategies. The team is responsible for solving complex financial questions in an evolving environment with new regulations, technologies and financial challenges. Their efforts help Paxos drive innovation, expand market reach and ultimately achieve Paxos' mission of building a more open and inclusive financial system.

The Opportunity

As our Manager, International Accounting Operations, you will be the connective tissue between these entities and the teams that support them. You will own Paxos' intercompany and transfer pricing framework — the agreements, the calculations, the settlement process and the documentation behind them — and serve as the accounting team's coordinator for statutory audits, regulatory examinations and tax compliance across jurisdictions.

You will work every day with Legal, Treasury, Strategic Finance, Tax, our in-country accounting partners and external advisors to keep many moving pieces on schedule and well documented. This is a highly collaborative, cross-functional role rather than an operational close role: success looks like clear ownership maps, reliable trackers, advisors and auditors who know exactly what they need from us and when, and an entity structure whose intercompany economics are understood, supportable and consistently applied.

What You'll Do

• Own the intercompany framework across Paxos' entities: maintain intercompany agreements with Legal, oversee transfer pricing calculations and periodic true-ups with our external advisors, and manage intercompany invoicing, settlement and netting.
• Act as the accounting team's single point of contact for statutory audits and regulatory examinations across jurisdictions: manage PBC request lists, coordinate responses across internal teams and in-country providers, track open items and drive debriefs and follow-up improvements.
• Coordinate tax compliance support with our tax advisors and internal tax lead — gathering support, tracking filing calendars and ensuring intercompany and entity data ties to what is filed.
• Oversee the relationship rhythm with in-country accounting partners and outsourced providers so that local statutory reporting reconciles to US GAAP and is delivered on time.
• Lead or support entity projects such as restructurings, new-entity setup, functional-currency changes and the integration of acquired businesses into our ERP and reporting.
• Build and maintain the ownership maps, calendars, trackers and process documentation that let the organization see, at any time, who owns what and where each deliverable stands.
• Translate accounting, tax and regulatory detail into clear updates and recommendations for Finance leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Identify gaps in process, controls and documentation and drive practical, scalable improvements.

About You

A minimum of 6 years of combined experience in public accounting and in-house accounting, with meaningful time at a multinational or multi-entity organization.

Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA (or equivalent); strong working knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with how local statutory reporting differs from it.

Hands-on experience with intercompany accounting and transfer pricing — you understand how multinational groups are organized, how services and costs flow between entities, and how those arrangements are documented and settled.

Experience coordinating statutory audits, regulatory examinations and/or tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including managing external auditors and advisors to deadlines.

Exceptional organization and program-management skills: you keep many concurrent workstreams moving, anticipate dependencies, and leave behind documentation others can use.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated success working across cultures, countries and time zones — with colleagues, outsourced providers and advisors alike.

Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure where it doesn't yet exist.

Proficiency with NetSuite or another multi-entity, multi-currency ERP; comfort using AI tools to draft, summarize and organize work.

Nice to have: experience in financial services or other regulated entities, exposure to affiliate-transaction rules or regulatory capital requirements, and experience with entity restructurings or functional-currency changes.
