We're looking for a Property Claims Advocate, Liability to help us deliver fast, fair, and genuinely human claims experiences. You'll be the person our customers count on when things go wrong — investigating liability claims end to end, making smart coverage decisions, and explaining them clearly, without the jargon. This role sits within our Claims team, where ownership, empathy, and sharp judgment aren't nice-to-haves — they're the baseline.

• In this role you'll
• Investigate and handle liability claims from first notice to final resolution — owning the full lifecycle
• Pay claims efficiently and fairly, keeping customer experience front and center throughout
• Spot subrogation opportunities as part of your day-to-day claims handling
• Communicate with customers by phone and email, translating complex coverage decisions into plain language
• Organize and prioritize your caseload to keep resolutions moving and questions from stacking up

What you'll need

• 3+ years of property liability and injury liability claims-handling experience
• A background with litigated and attorney-represented files — a significant advantage
• Property & Casualty adjuster license in your resident state strongly preferred — if you don't have one yet, we'll help you get there within your first 3 months
• Experience with a large national carrier, ideally supporting renters or homeowners customers
• Genuine empathy, patience, and the ability to bring calm to stressful situations
• Comfort with new technology and tools — you adapt quickly and don't shy away from change
• A college degree
• Ability to work in a remote environment

Lemonade's US base salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 - $72,000 plus equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Our competitive total rewards package includes comprehensive health & wellness coverage, equity, a 401(k) plan with employer match, 20 paid vacation days, and parental leave.
