Respiratory Care Assistant (RCA) is responsible for supporting the overall operations of the Respiratory Care Department on both campuses. The Respiratory Care Assistant is responsible for supply inventory, ordering, and stocking the main storeroom and satellites. Delivers and removes respiratory care equipment to ensure adequate supply and preventive maintenance. Assists respiratory therapists in ensuring they have the appropriate equipment to provide patient care.
Responsible for ventilator and non-invasive ventilator fleet including availability, cleaning, set up, operational verification, and distribution.
