Overview

Diagnoses, evaluates, treats, counsels patients with a wide variety of communication disorders and swallowing disorders. Provides appropriate care for patients served according to age, using procedures consistent with the scope and standards of practice.

Responsibilities
- 1. Evaluates patient's communication or swallowing function within the scope and standards of practice, keeping service excellence as a main priority.
- 2. Establishes and conducts a treatment program and keeps timely documentation that is in line with departmental, hospital and regulatory standards.
- 3. Communicates evaluation results and progress in therapy.
- 4. Participates in departmental and hospital performance improvement activities.
