Security Officer (1st Shift) - Kansas City Prepared Plant at Tyson Foods | LAYIQ

Education: High School diploma or its equivalency.
Experience: Previous law enforcement, military, corrections, or security experience preferred.
Computer Skills : Basic computer skills are desirable, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Communication Skills : Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills are a necessity, and applicant must possess the ability to interact respectfully with all Team Members, including Tyson Management.
Special Skills : Must have the ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion, and calmly and reasonably handle situations that are tense, uncertain, and rapidly evolving.
Must have a level of physical fitness and stamina that will allow them to withstand periods of walking and standing for periods of time, running short distances, and controlling physical altercations if necessary.
Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
