Brandworks, Outside Interactive's in-house creative agency, develops award-winning custom content, video, creator marketing, and integrated campaigns for some of the world's leading outdoor brands. We're looking for a Creative Operations Specialist to keep those projects moving from pitch to production to delivery.

This role sits at the center of Brandworks, partnering with Creative Strategy, Sales, Production, Creator Marketing, Client Services, and external partners. The ideal candidate is equal parts project manager, producer, communicator, and problem solver — someone who enjoys managing details while helping creative teams do their best work.

Responsibilities

• Creative Operations
• Assist in developing internal workflows, documentation, and best practices that improve efficiency across Brandworks.
• Proactively identify project risks and help solve production challenges to keep campaigns on schedule.
• Maintain and share a live campaign status/timeline tracker with Client Services, flagging at-risk milestones with defined lead time.
• Video Production + Outside Creator Network
• Attend campaign kickoff and handoff meetings with Client Services to align on scope, timeline, and client expectations before production begins.
• Manage production timelines, pre-production decks, calendars, milestones, approvals, and deliverables.
• Assist producers with shoot logistics — crew coordination, travel, permits, locations, releases, rentals, and production research.
• Help coordinate post-production schedules, review cycles, version tracking, and client feedback.
• Manage final asset delivery, ensuring all deliverables meet client specifications and deadlines.
• Help identify, vet, onboard, and manage creator relationships alongside the Creator Marketing Manager.
• Assist Creative Strategists in developing pitch materials, creative concepts, production approaches, cost estimates, and talent recommendations.
• Maintain project files, creative assets, and documentation throughout campaign lifecycles.
• Track campaign budgets, invoices, production expenses, and vendor paperwork.
• Ensure all contracts, releases, and production documentation are completed and organized.
• Within 1 Month, you will: Become immersed in Brandworks' custom content workflow, production process, and creative operations.
• Begin supporting active video productions, Outside Creator Network campaigns, and client deliverables.
• Build proficiency in our project management systems and production calendars.
• Within 6 Months, you will: Manage operational workflows for multiple concurrent custom content and video campaigns.
• Coordinate creator campaigns alongside the Creator Marketing Manager from kickoff through completion.
• Recommend workflow improvements that increase efficiency and communication across Brandworks.
• Within 12 Months, you will: Serve as the operational hub for Brandworks creative production.
• Independently manage day-to-day custom content operations for complex integrated campaigns spanning video, creators, editorial, and social content.
• Develop scalable systems, templates, and best practices that improve efficiency across the department.

What YOU bring to Outside

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Production, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in creative operations, project management, production coordination, agency operations, or integrated marketing.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience coordinating video or content production workflows.
• Experience managing timelines, budgets, approvals, and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced creative environment with shifting priorities.
• Experience with project management platforms such as Asana, Monday.com, Airtable, Smartsheet, or similar tools is a plus.
• Passion for the outdoors and enthusiasm for helping tell meaningful stories that inspire people to get outside.

What We Offer:

Entirely remote jobs that could be performed in Colorado: Employees can expect to be paid a salary of  between $65,000 to $85,000.  Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission. Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, Flexible Time Away,  sick leave, and more. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
