Business Development Representative

What will you be doing?

As a Business Development Representative, your role is to build and develop relationships with new potential customer accounts in close collaboration with AvePoint’s sales team. You’ll identify organizations’ current and future IT challenges to help match AvePoint products and support services to those needs. If you’re driven and eager to expand your sales career, as well as learn about the corporate security landscape, then we want to hear from you!

Your responsibilities will include:

• -Researching, identifying, and qualifying potential customer organizations and prospects
• -Positioning AvePoint effectively to facilitate a high conversion of leads to qualified pipeline opportunities by executing and communicating effective product and solution-based messaging via phone, emails, LinkedIn outreach, events (in-person and digital) and more
• -Collaborating with sales account executives to help prospect their territories
• -Owning the creation of email sequences, templates, and outreach messaging
• -Conducting qualification and follow-up until a qualified opportunity is created

Other qualities you’ll need to be a fit for this role include:

• -A minimum of 6+ months of outreach experience, preferably within software sales with a history of clear goal attainment
• -Prior experience using Sales Automation and Prospecting Tools (Recommended)
• -Excellent communication and listening skills
• -Impeccable organizational and time management skills
• -Ability to thrive in a fast, past, ever-changing environment

• -An ability to understand technical concepts and convey them to customers
