Overview
Herzog Transit Services, Inc. is currently seeking
Flaggers in Irving, TX to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*This is a non-exhaustive overview of the job duties for this position.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety and operating rules and federal regulations.
Shall perform all duties required in connection with the operation of commuter trains.
Promote safe work practices as well as maintains and fosters a safe work environment.
Train to become a conductor.
Duties include but are not limited flagging to provide a safe work zone for all employees working on or near the railroad tracks.
Notifies proper authorities and prepares reports to explain accidents, unscheduled stops or delays.
Comply with train orders, train signals, radio communications, and railroad rules and regulations to ensure the safe and efficient operation for track workers and trains traveling through work zones.
