Overview
Herzog Transit Services, Inc. is currently seeking
Conductors in Fort Worth, TX to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*This is a non-exhaustive overview of the job duties for this position.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety and operating rules and regulations.
Shall perform all duties required in connection with the operation of commuter trains.
Promote safe work practices as well as maintains and fosters a safe work environment.
Duties include but are not limited to customer service, fare inspection, switching, and flagging.
Notifies proper authorities and prepares reports to explain accidents, unscheduled stops or delays.
Diagnose minor malfunctions and performs minor maintenance and servicing activities when maintenance personnel are not available.
Comply with train orders, train signals, radio communications, and railroad rules and regulations to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the train.
