Overview
Herzog Transit Services, Inc. is currently seeking
Flaggers in Irving, TX to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*This is a non-exhaustive overview of the job duties for this position.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety and operating rules and federal regulations.
Promote safe work practices as well as maintains and fosters a safe work environment.
Duties include but are not limited to working as a Flagger, Roadway Worker In Charge, Lookout, a Sub-Group Coordinator, Station Ambassador, and other duties as assigned.
Notifies proper authorities and prepares reports to explain accidents, unscheduled stops or delays.
Comply with train orders, radio communications, and railroad rules and regulations to ensure the safe and efficient operation for track workers and trains traveling through work zones.
Regular and consistent engagement, participation and promotion of Herzog’s Culture and its essential behaviors are a requirement for this position
