This position requires you to pass and maintain a DOT medical evaluation to drive a Herzog commercial vehicle.
Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described below must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions of this role. This position will be physically demanding at times. This is a non-exhaustive overview of the physical requirements for this position.
Lift and transfer weight up to 70 pounds for a distance of up to 100 feet.
Work in extreme all-weather conditions; uneven surfaces; safety sensitive work environment.
Able to walk on uneven surfaces up to 1 mile.
Regularly ascend and descend an 18-step ladder with up to 25 pounds. Frequently climb on/off equipment.
Regularly push/pull with a body force of up to 50 pounds.
Use hands to regularly grasp or squeeze wrenches, switches requiring force up to 60 pounds.
Must successfully pass color/vision examinations as required by the position.
Must be able to hear and distinguish auditory signals as required by the position.
Able to work in conditions with loud noise; work on/around heavy/moving machinery.
Regularly kneel, bend, squat while transferring up to 25 pounds of weight.
Regularly sit and stand for an extended period of time.
Work in a confined access/space environment as narrow as 18 inches.
