Overview
Herzog Contracting Corp. is currently seeking a Project Engineer in Cincinnati, OH to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*This is a non-exhaustive overview of the job duties for this position.
Assist Project Manager and Construction Manager with the execution of the Project per the contract documents.
Know the contractual obligations that HCC has with the client and vice versa.
Manage, lead, and support Field Engineers with the development of construction work plans as well as the development and processing of submittals, RFIs, and potential change order documentation, ensuring compliance with the contract documents.
Assist with project cost forecasting and ensure costs are properly coded to the correct cost code.
Support the development and maintenance of the Project’s CPM schedule and ensure materials are procured in a timely manner. Review submittals and RFIs for completeness and accuracy prior to transmitting to the Owner.
