Overview
Riverside Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Birthing Center Team Leader to join our team in Kankakee, Illinois. As the Team Leader, you will oversee the operations of our Family Birthing Center, ensuring exceptional care for expectant mothers and their newborns. You will provide leadership to nursing staff, coordinate patient care, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our birthing services.
This role requires a strong background in obstetric nursing, excellent management skills, and a commitment to fostering a supportive and effective care environment.
Essential Duties
Leadership and Supervision: Lead, mentor, and supervise the Family Birthing Center team, including nurses and support staff. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional development. Participation in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff members.
