Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Compensation Specialist is responsible for supporting specific groups with compensation administration and implementation for UMass Chan’s various compensation programs. This includes areas related to compensation requirements, including position redesign, job descriptions and evaluations, FLSA testing, salary administration and conducting compensation analyses. This position will assist in the implementation of compensation programs and help translate strategy into results.
The Senior Compensation Specialist will support our compliance with relevant federal and state wage and salary laws and regulations. Perform financial/compensation modeling and analysis to support sound compensation decision-making.
Responsibilities
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for the analysis and recommendations of job evaluations, salary administration and other related UMass Chan compensation programs.
