Finance Coordinator

ProPublica is seeking candidates with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a customer service mindset to join the New York City headquarters as a finance coordinator.

This full-time position will be part of a five-person accounting and finance team responsible for a growing annual operating budget of more than $65 million. The finance coordinator is responsible for supporting, coordinating and processing accounts payable activities, payroll data entry, employee expense reimbursements, corporate credit card reporting and electronic banking transactions.

This role serves as a key point of contact for all staff and vendors for successfully navigating and using a constellation of finance systems, and coordinates closely with human resources on payroll processing, including new hires, terminations and compensation changes. This role will report to the payroll and accounting manager.
