About the Role
Joining H&R Block
1 as an experienced Bookkeeper, you’ll deliver exceptional bookkeeping, payroll and customer service. You’ll be an integral part of delivering on our brand purpose to provide help and inspire communities everywhere.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Post financial transactions into subsidiary books and general ledgers
- Reconcile and balance accounts
- Generate and analyze financial statements
- Prepare and process payroll
- Generate 1099s and W2s and calculate and prepare tax statements
- Communicate with clients, client suppliers, vendors and banking contacts
- Assist in client retention and client growth opportunities
