About the Role
As a Tax Associate at H&R Block, you'll begin a career in tax and client service through a hands-on, apprenticeship-style experience. You’ll build your skills with training, guidance, and coaching as you grow. With support from advanced technology and a Client Care Specialist, you’ll focus on reviewing each client’s tax situation, offering clear advice, and building trust.
This role is in-person and not remote.
- Partner with a dedicated Client Care Specialist who gathers client information, allowing you to focus on reviewing each client's tax situation and delivering a great experience
- Leverage H&R Block's advanced technology to prepare returns while you focus on reviewing results, ensuring accuracy, and providing personalized advice
- Use open-ended questions and active listening to understand client needs and identify tax savings opportunities
- Recommend relevant products and services based on client needs, questions, and unique situations
- Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions with guidance and resources
- Continue building tax knowledge through ongoing training to grow your confidence and ability to serve clients effectively
