At GoFibre, we're expanding our full fibre network and looking for an experienced
FTTP Install Engineer to join our growing team. If you're passionate about delivering a great customer experience, take pride in high-quality installations and enjoy working outdoors, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
- As an FTTP Install Engineer, you'll play a key role in connecting homes and businesses to GoFibre's full fibre network. Working independently and alongside colleagues, you'll be responsible for delivering safe, professional and high-quality installations from start to finish.
- Your responsibilities will include: Installing and commissioning FTTP broadband services
- Fibre cabling, blowing, splicing and termination activities
- Testing and fault-finding using OTDR and fibre testing equipment
- Working on overhead and underground PIA networks
- Completing site surveys and installation documentation
- Maintaining high Health & Safety standards at all times
- Delivering an exceptional customer experience during every visit
- Ensuring all work is completed to company and industry standards
What we're looking for
- We're looking for someone who already has hands-on experience within fibre installation and can confidently work in both customer-facing and network environments.
- You'll ideally have: Experience working on FTTP networks
- Fibre splicing and testing experience
- Knowledge of overhead and underground network installation
- Experience using OTDR and fibre testing equipment
- Working at Height experience
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Essential Qualifications
- Full UK Driving License
- NRSWA Accreditation
- SA001 Certification
- SA002 Certification
