Field Operations Assistant

The Field Operations Assistant is responsible for reviewing and validating vendor ticket submissions in the OpenTicket platform to ensure compliance with established submission guidelines, accurately coding transactions, and routing invoices through the appropriate approval workflow.

Additional responsibilities include running weekly cost reports for field personnel, assisting the production reporting team with field oil and water transportation tickets, coordinating the shipment and delivery of documentation to the Midland corporate office, performing data entry across various systems, and managing field office supplies, organization, and administrative support functions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with the coding and invoicing process as well as entering costs into the internal tracking system

Review vendor ticket submissions to ensure compliance with company and OpenTicket submission requirements.

Route invoices and vendor tickets to the appropriate personnel for review and approval.

Provide a wide variety of administrative and staff support services to one or more field office sites

Assists field team & operations with activities and assignments as needed

Maintain office supplies, field office organization, inventories, and coordinate office equipment maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Five (5+) years of demonstrable experience working with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Excellent written, verbal, listening, communication, and data entry skills
• Exhibit a professional attitude both verbally and in writing along with excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience as an Administrative Assistant working for an oil and gas company
• Ability to be proactive in identifying and addressing issues
