Summary
Under the supervision of the Practice Manager, the Audiologist holds an advanced degree and holds a state license to practice audiology in order to identify, test, diagnose, and manage disorders of human hearing, balance, and tinnitus. They perform comprehensive audiological services for the diagnosis and rehabilitation of hearing loss and related auditory and vestibular diseases. They interpret the test results, work in tandem with your health care team, and review results as well as counsel the patient on their hearing health.
If needed, they discuss, dispense, and adjust hearing aids along with Osseo-integrated devices and cochlear implants.
Education
- Doctorate of Audiology (AuD) or Masters in Audiology with graduation prior to 1988
- Certification, Registration & Licensure
- Licensure: Active licensure in good standing
- State: New Hampshire
Experience
Two years of Audiology practice experience preferred.
