3 South Surgical Unit is a dynamic, fast-paced unit that provides comprehensive care for adult patients with complex medical, cardiac, vascular, and post-operative needs. Our team specializes in caring for patients with acute cardiac conditions, complex medication management, and cardiovascular procedure recovery. Staff develop advanced clinical skills through the care of a diverse patient population requiring cardiac telemetry monitoring.
Team members utilize a multidisciplinary approach to deliver high quality; patient-centered care focused on stabilization, treatment, recovery, and education.
The Patient Flow Coordinator is an entry-level leadership role responsible for coordinating safe and efficient patient flow through the Emergency Department. This role oversees patient care activities, delegates workload, addresses delays, and collaborates with medical staff and other departments to ensure timely , high-quality care while serving as a role model for teamwork, leadership, and professionalism.
