Product Marketing Manager - Card Not Present (eCommerce) Processing & Value Added Solutions

We are looking for a strategic and execution-focused Product Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market strategy for NMI's card-not-present (CNP) processing and Value Added Solutions (VAS) portfolio, the tools and services that power secure, high-converting online and card-not-present transactions for merchants, software platforms and partners across the United States.

NMI has evolved from a payment gateway into a full-service payment platform. Our CNP processing stack and VAS suite, including Customer Vault, Automatic Card Updater, Invoicing, ACH and fraud prevention tools, give merchants and partners a single, trusted path from sign up to pay out.

This role supports that evolution, helping translate processing and VAS capabilities into messaging that speaks to the outcomes online merchants, marketplaces, subscription businesses and software platforms actually care about: conversion, fraud loss reduction, recurring revenue retention and total cost of acceptance.

You will lead market positioning, messaging, launches and enablement for NMI's CNP processing and VAS offerings, working closely with product, sales and channel teams to help make sure NMI is the preferred processing and VAS partner for every merchant and partner selling online.

This role calls for a solid understanding of how ecommerce merchants, subscription businesses and software platforms evaluate and adopt payment processing and value added services, and the ability to help translate technical capability (tokenization, network tokenization, recurring billing, customer vaulting, PCI scope reduction, fraud and chargeback tools) into outcome-led messaging that supports pipeline and adoption.

This role is also NMI's evangelist for CNP processing and VAS. You will present to sales teams and internal stakeholders, and help represent NMI at ecommerce and payments industry events. You will build AI tools into your everyday workflow as a core habit rather than an occasional add-on, and bring enough technical fluency across payment gateways, tokenization, APIs and PCI compliance to work credibly alongside engineers and technical buyers.

This is a remote, US-based role, with a strong preference for candidates in the Eastern or Central time zone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own CNP Processing & VAS Go-to-Market Strategy
• — Lead positioning and messaging for NMI's card-not-present processing stack and Value Added Solutions, including tokenization and vaulting, recurring billing support, ACH, invoicing and fraud prevention tools.
• Define clear, outcome-led value propositions for ecommerce merchants, subscription businesses, marketplaces and software platforms, grounded in conversion, revenue retention and fraud reduction rather than processing specifications alone.
• Develop differentiated narratives that articulate why NMI is the processing and VAS partner of choice for online and card-not-present businesses, moving away from feature-and-spec language in favor of stories about merchant and partner success.
• Partner with Product Management to influence roadmap decisions using merchant insight and competitive intelligence, driving adoption of NMI's CNP processing and VAS suite.
• Drive Product Launches & Market Adoption
• — Support go-to-market execution for new processing capabilities, VAS features and integrations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across product, sales, corporate marketing and channel marketing on launch execution.
• Create launch plans, enablement materials, customer-facing messaging and internal readiness programs for online merchants, subscription businesses and software platforms.
• Support adoption and revenue generation by aligning messaging with onboarding, documentation and the merchant experience.
• Build Understanding of the eCommerce & VAS Ecosystem
• — Develop working knowledge of buyer and operator personas within ecommerce, subscription/recurring billing and software platform segments.
• Conduct market research on trends in online fraud, chargebacks, PCI compliance, checkout conversion and payment orchestration.
• Monitor competitors and market dynamics to support NMI's differentiation strategy for CNP processing and VAS.
• Translate research into actionable, solution-focused messaging and strategic recommendations.
• Build Sales & Channel Enablement
• — Develop high-impact sales enablement tools, including pitch decks, battlecards, case studies, messaging frameworks, ROI narratives and use cases specific to CNP processing and VAS.
• Help sales articulate the business value of NMI's processing and VAS suite in terms merchants and partners care about, not just technical capability.
• Support lifecycle messaging that drives adoption, expansion and retention among merchants and partners.
• Partner with channel marketing to equip ISOs, software providers and reseller partners with compelling, VAS-focused messaging they can use with confidence.
• Support NMI's Evangelism
• — Present NMI's CNP processing and VAS solutions to sales teams and internal stakeholders, and support prospect and partner conversations.
• Help represent NMI at ecommerce and payments industry events and conferences as opportunities arise.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience marketing into ecommerce, subscription/recurring billing, marketplace or software platform segments.
• Familiarity with payment gateways, tokenization, PCI DSS compliance or fraud/chargeback management tools.
• Experience working on cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience contributing to a product's shift from a technical, spec-driven story to a solution- and outcome-driven story.
• Exposure to ISOs, resellers or channel partners.

This is a remote role with an annual US base salary range of $100,000 – $125,000 USD. This salary range will be narrowed during the interview process based on experience, qualification, and location.
