THE ROLE:

Everpure is building the Enterprise Data Cloud - data unified, governed and understood as one intelligent system, and the foundation enterprises build AI on. Our partners are central to that, and the opportunity in front of them is significant: Data Intelligence, cyber resilience, Portworx and Evergreen//One as-a-service open up higher-value, higher-margin and more durable business than infrastructure alone.

Realising it means investing together;  in deeper practices, in services IP, and in partner-led technical capability that stands on its own.

The Senior Director, Partner Technical Managers, Americas leads that work. You lead the Americas PTM organisation and are accountable for evolving it into a practice-building, opportunity-generating, franchise-scale engine. One that helps partners become genuinely self-sufficient in Everpure’s highest-value motions and makes Everpure the platform partners choose to build a business on.

This is a change-leadership role as much as a technical leadership one. You will evolve the operating model, the metrics and the mandate of the function for the next phase of growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Lead and transform the Americas PTM organization
• Lead, coach and grow a distributed team of PTMs and PTM managers.
• Define the function’s operating model including coverage, segmentation and engagement rules.
• Move the team from reactive enablement to a proactive, outcome-led posture.
• Build practices inside partners, not just skills
• Shift enablement from training individuals to standing up repeatable partner practices with real services IP and a defensible P&L.
• Establish practice blueprints for our growth areas: AI and data platform, Data Intelligence, Enterprise Data Cloud, cyber resilience, virtualization consolidation, Portworx and Evergreen//One.
• Set graduation criteria for each practice and align tier, certification and incentives to attainment.
• Make PTMs opportunity-driven in their partners
• Hold PTMs accountable for partner-originated pipeline, not enablement activity.
• Institutionalise the motions that create it including partner-led PVRs, install-base and displacement plays, EDC and AI readiness assessments.
• Grow a Partner SE Champion population measured on opportunities created and won.
• Build franchise partner accounts
• Run our most strategic partners as named, multi-year franchise accounts with a joint technical business plan and investment case.
• Own the relationships  at partner CTO and practice-lead level.
• Differentiate coverage from co-funded and embedded partner SE models through to scaled programmatic support.
• Extend the model to service providers and MSPs, making Evergreen//One and Portworx credible annuity offerings.
• Evolve how we measure the function
• Redesign PTM metrics around capability and outcome e.g. partner-originated bookings, autonomous win rate, practices matured, active Champion capacity, services attach.
• Help build the instrumentation with Partner Operations into a single dashboard leadership trusts.
• Retire measures that no longer drive behaviour.
• Orchestrate cross-functional resources
• Position the PTM as an orchestrator of Everpure’s wider technical bench, with clear routing, SLAs and escalation paths.
• Champion and help scale the Partner Helpdesk within the SE Excellence Centre to absorb routine pre-sales demand and protect PTM time for high-leverage work.
• Use Helpdesk and field data to surface enablement gaps.
• Represent Everpure at the front
• Act as the senior technical voice with partner executives, at events and in Americas leadership forums.
• Partner with Channel Sales, PAMs, District SE leadership and Global Partner Programs so there is one joined-up plan per partner.
• Carry the Everpure narrative credibly, from Data Primacy to the Enterprise Data Cloud.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Leadership
• 12+ years in pre-sales, systems engineering, partner technical or channel leadership, including experience leading leaders.
• Demonstrated record of transforming a technical function - new operating model, new metrics, new expectations - not just running an existing one well.
• Ability to lead through influence across Sales, Channel, Product, Services and Marketing without direct authority, and to build consensus with partner executives.
• Comfortable making and defending difficult calls on coverage, investment and what we stop doing.
• Partner and commercial
• Deep understanding of channel economics: reseller, GSI, distribution, service provider and MSP models, and what makes a partner practice profitable enough to sustain investment.
• Experience building partner practices or services offerings, ideally including as-a-service and managed offerings.
• Track record of driving partner-originated pipeline and holding a team accountable to it.
• Existing senior relationships across the Americas partner ecosystem strongly preferred.
• Technical
• Credible at depth across modern data platform architecture: block, file and object, unstructured data at scale, hybrid and cloud data services, Kubernetes and storage-as-a-service models.
• Working command of the AI data pipeline, and of data governance and classification as AI prerequisites.
• Fluent in cyber resilience, virtualization migration dynamics and the competitive landscape.
• Executive presence to move between a partner CTO conversation and a whiteboard architecture session.

• Data-driven; instinct to instrument before scaling.
• Thrives in ambiguity and pace, prioritises ruthlessly, and exercises sound judgement on difficult calls.
• Genuine passion for building people and businesses.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

The annual base salary range is: $219,800 — $351,400 USD
