The Role

The Americas Senior Director, Evergreen Subscription Sales, leads the segment strategy, vision, and execution of the Evergreen subscription portfolio for the Americas Core segment. This role translates global portfolio direction and company objectives into a multi-functional Americas Core segment strategy that increases subscription adoption, recurring revenue, pipeline progression, customer value, and commercial effectiveness.

The Senior Director leads the Americas Core Evergreen Subscription Sales organization, develops Americas Core territory and market plans, establishes operating policies and mechanisms, and partners with executive leadership to deliver sustainable business results.

The role has broad responsibility and significant operational latitude within the Americas Core segment. It influences strategy, policy, resource allocation, and execution across Sales, Product, Finance, Customer Success, Marketing, Services, and Operations.

Account Executives and Regional Sales retain ownership of customer relationships and core account execution; the Senior Director is accountable for the Americas Core Evergreen Subscription Sales function, segment commercial outcomes, organizational capability, and cross-functional alignment. The role does not own or direct Evergreen Subscription Sales execution outside the Americas Core segment.

Key Responsibilities

• Americas Core Segment Strategy, Vision, and Commercial Leadership
• Develop the Americas Core Evergreen Subscription Sales strategy, vision, and multi-year roadmap within the context of global Evergreen Subscription Sales and company objectives.
• Translate global portfolio direction into multi-functional Americas Core segment objectives, priorities, policies, resource plans, and operating mechanisms.
• Establish and own Americas Core segment objectives for subscription adoption, recurring revenue growth, qualified pipeline progression, sales productivity, customer value, and retention.
• Develop territory, segment, coverage, and market plans that address Americas Core opportunity, customer needs, competitive dynamics, field priorities, and emerging market factors.
• Participate with executive leadership in strategic planning, business reviews, forecasting, and decisions affecting the company’s commercial position in the Americas Core segment.
• Make final implementation decisions within delegated authority and ensure operational effectiveness across the Americas Core Evergreen Subscription Sales organization and its cross-functional programs.
• Provide input into global portfolio strategy, commercial policy, pricing and packaging discussions, and company-wide methods based on Americas Core segment market insight and performance.
• Sales Partnership and Executive Commercial Execution
• Lead the Americas Core Evergreen Subscription Sales overlay as a strategic commercial function, setting engagement standards and aligning with Regional Sales and Account Executives on priorities, coverage, and execution.
• Engage early in the segment’s most strategic and complex opportunities to shape customer strategy, commercial structure, subscription adoption, and long-term account value.
• Coach and challenge field leaders and sales teams on Evergreen Subscription Sales value propositions, customer outcomes, competitive differentiation, and commercial execution.
• Establish executive-level inspection of pipeline health, opportunity progression, forecast inputs, adoption, financial performance, and execution risks; drive corrective action where needed.
• Build trusted relationships with executive customers, partners, and alliances, representing the company in critical negotiations and strategic engagements.
• Serve as an influential Americas Core segment voice of the customer and market, ensuring insight informs portfolio evolution, commercial strategy, and operating priorities.
• Organizational Leadership and Talent Development
• Lead the Americas Evergreen Subscription Sales organization through subordinate managers, senior leaders, and experienced professionals, as established by the organization design.
• Set the organization’s structure, priorities, objectives, operating cadence, and performance expectations in alignment with global and company-wide direction.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

The annual base salary range is: $291,200 — $499,100 USD
