Position Responsibilities: Manage the lease renewal pipeline and critical dates, perform contract negotiations, seek financial and business approvals. Conduct strategic portfolio analysis, supporting business stakeholders during the site exit and renewal process. Define KPIs, track critical dates, and build mechanisms to track key portfolio metrics. Drive portfolio optimization through process improvement, cost savings/avoidance, and standardized lease language. Negotiate, draft, and manage lease related legal documents.
Partner and seek alignment with internal stakeholders including business development, legal, finance, and economic development. Manage the landlord/tenant relationship through lease compliance, escalation, and de-escalation. Report on portfolio metrics, analyze data, and provide monthly/quarterly business updates about the team AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. Domestic travel up to 25% to perform role responsibilities may be required.
Basic Qualifications
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Must have three (3) years of experience with: reading, understanding, and interpreting lease language; lease negotiations; managing internal and external customers, stakeholders, and business partners; and managing critical project dates and deal pipelines.
