Position: HW Commodity Specialist II (multiple positions available)
Location: Cupertino, California
Multiple Positions Available:
1. Lead material availability and supply chain readiness to enable timely launches of critical new rack and server products for AWS.
2. Partner with engineering to understand the technical requirements and translate this to our external supply partners to ensure parts are delivered to meet customer requirements.
3. Partner with internal stakeholders and organizations to define business requirements, provide feedback and influence product launches and scaling based on external vendor supportability; 4. Provide supply chain inputs to product roadmaps to ensure supply continuity. Bring together cross- functional teams including engineering, product management, supply chain and finance to consolidate and analyze different product options and drive alignment on the roadmap.
5. Integrate across supply chain commodity managers to maintain continuity of supply while minimizing risk for excess and obsolete materials.
