As a Sr. Construction Manager within Global Engineering Services (GES) North America (NA) Design & Construction (D&C), you are Amazon's senior owner's representative responsible for the autonomous end-to-end delivery of complex construction projects — including large-scale new builds, retrofits, and expansions for sortation centers, delivery stations, and auxiliary buildings that power Amazon's logistics network.
You operate with a high degree of independence, executing day-to-day operations autonomously and routinely delivering the right outcomes with limited guidance — even when project strategy is not yet well-defined. You deliver a mix of tactical and strategic initiatives that impact multiple teams and/or geographies in support of significant business objectives.
You own design oversight, external partner selection, contract negotiations, and project procurement — and you are accountable for the full performance of your external project management partners, architects, design consultants, general contractors, and subcontractors.
