Finance Manager - Alexa 1P and Alexa Home Finance
Position Overview
The Finance Manager will be responsible for providing financial oversight, analysis, and strategic guidance for product development, sales and marketing and fixed costs investments. This role partners closely with Alexa finance and business leadership to optimize budget allocation, track performance metrics, and ensure maximum return on investment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage comprehensive reporting including forecasting, tracking, and variance analysis
Partner with stakeholder teams to build financial models that evaluate campaign effectiveness and investment ROI
Create monthly and quarterly financial reports analyzing performance against KPIs
Lead the monthly and quarterly financial reviews
Identify opportunities to optimize investments in a dynamic environment
Establish financial controls and approval processes
Develop dashboards to visualize investment effectiveness business drivers
Success Factors

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
Preferred Qualifications
6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
MBA, or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
