Amazon's is building next-generation robotics systems for multi-purpose use, and we need hands-on lab engineers to own and operate the test environments that prove these robots are ready for production. With multiple new test labs coming online in the months ahead, this is a chance to join a growing System Verification and Validation team at a pivotal moment and directly shape how we build, test, and scale our robotics prototypes.
As a Lab Engineer II, you will operate and maintain test fixtures, lab equipment, and motion capture systems while also performing robot repairs to keep test uptime high. As the team grows, you will have the opportunity to mentor new technicians and associates, and potentially step into a lab manager role. If you are energized by working with robotics and automation hardware, solving hands-on problems, and helping a small team grow, we want to hear from you.
Key job responsibilities
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot test environments, fixtures, and lab equipment to ensure high availability and uptime for prototype development and verification and validation efforts.
