As an Amazon Robotics Mechanical Engineer on the Mobile Robotics team, you will support the sustaining engineering efforts for Amazon's network of mobile drive units deployed across our fulfillment facilities. In this role, you will take particular ownership over the definition and development of floor requirements that enable mobile robots to successfully function within Amazon facilities.
The ideal candidate has experience designing and analyzing robotic systems, enjoys analytical problem solving, and possesses practical knowledge of robotic design, fabrication, assembly, and rapid prototyping — with an ability to bridge mechanical hardware performance and environmental/infrastructure constraints.
