Amazon.com is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support its work on M&A and other strategic transactions. The candidate must have a strong M&A and strategic transactions background and be able to manage large and complex transactions with tight deadlines, as well as research and advise on transactional and general corporate matters and work effectively with outside counsel. The candidate must be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary.
M&A, investments, and other transactional experience at a law firm and/or technology company is required. This role will be Seattle-based.
- Basic Qualifications
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- 5+ years of post bar admission legal experience
- Experience with a wide variety of transaction types (e.g., private company, public company, stock purchase, asset purchase, cross-border, minority investments, joint ventures)
