Amazon’s Global Trade Services (GTS) team creates scalable risk management and technology programs to enable cross-border expansion in compliance with import, export and product compliance regulations. GTS seeks to hire a Head of North America (NA) Product Compliance (Sr. Manager, Risk) to drive strategy and operations. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial leader and an inspiring people manager who can deliver best-in-class regulatory compliance programs in a highly complex and revolving regulatory environment.
This leader must digest new regulations and enforcement trends, set a vision for the region, drive alignment with cross-functional leaders, influence tech roadmaps and controls, and develop team members to bring the vision to light. They will excel at cross-functional collaboration with internal partners (e.g. Legal, Safety) serving Amazon's WW business lines, and skillfully representing Amazon to external regulators and agencies.
