Corporate Counsel, Treasury & Risk

Amazon is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support its Treasury and Risk Management operations. You will provide day-to-day legal advice on worldwide general treasury matters, including cash management and investments, banking relationships, foreign exchange, and account documentation, and support capital markets transactions, insurance/risk management programs, and Treasury special projects, as needed.

Principal duties include reviewing, structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex arrangements and advising on related regulatory implications. You will work directly with Treasury leadership, business legal teams, and outside counsel across a broad range of initiatives spanning multiple jurisdictions.

Key job responsibilities

Advise on general treasury legal matters including banking agreements, account documentation, master repurchase agreements, FX arrangements, overdraft facilities, letters of credit, custody arrangements, and vendor relationships
